Being innovative means doing things differently or doing things that have never been done before. On November 30, 2015, the founder and CEO of For Brown Girls, Inc., Dr. Kia Monique Jones, envisioned a group of women consuming knowledge and strategically assisting in advocating for disadvantaged populations. On that day, For Brown Girls, Inc. was born.
For Brown Girls, Inc. is a nonprofit organization representing a group of women from all walks of life. Our mission is to uplift, motivate, and cultivate the minds of people of color. Our primary focus is strengthening marginalized communities. For Brown Girls, Inc. is dedicated to empowering people to lead, create our future, and transform our world. Too many good ideas for making the world a better place go unheard or unrealized. For Brown Girls, Inc. wants to address these ideas.
Dr. Jones has begun to create a legacy where more Brown Girls worldwide saw the vision and wanted to be apart of the legacy and a Change Agent for their communities. We are proud to announce that For Brown Girls, Inc. has expanded.
